Global Investigations Review (GIR) – The Practitioner’s Guide to Global Investigations has once again published a chapter in The European, Middle Eastern and African Investigations Review 2017 prepared by Dmitry Vlasov and Elena Zaltser on asset recovery and confiscation by Russian authorities (“Russia: Asset Recovery and Confiscation”).  The chapter discusses the regulatory framework for confiscation of assets by Russian authorities in criminal cases, confiscation under the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code and much more.
