On 15 June, Maxim Kulkov and Dmitry Ilin will speak at the Collecting Bad Debts. Throwing Good Money after Bad? RAA conference

KK&P Managing Partner Maxim Kulkov and Senior Associate Dmitry Ilin will participate in a session on issues of non-performance and termination of contracts.

Maxim Kulkov will moderate the discussion and present a paper on “Sanctions and hostilities as grounds for termination”. Maxim will share practical advice on what to do if a counterparty withdraws from a contract, citing sanctions or military action, and how to induce the counterparty to continue performance or recover damages.

Dmitry Ilin will speak about the minimisation of losses caused by unilateral termination of contracts, i.e., criteria and approaches in current practice.

The other participants will be Dmitry Soldatkin (SZP Law) and Stepan Sultanov (KIAP)

The conference will be held in the Marriott Novy Arbat Hotel (32 Novy Arbat Street, Moscow)
