Maxim Kulkov to participate in the St Petersburg Legal Summit
On 28 May, KK&P Managing Partner Maxim Kulkov will take part in two sessions at the St Petersburg Legal Summit:
- Take Your Fee Proposal Elsewhere: Why Business Does/Doesn’t Pay For Consulting Services (3.00 PM–4.00 PM, LAW500 Space).
In-house representatives will discuss how they evaluate law firms’ Fee Proposals, what facilitates the commencement of cooperation and what would deter a potential client.
The session will have a non-standard format. Maxim will share the role of moderator with Anna Voytsekhovich (MTS). Anna will represent a client side, while Maxim will act as the consultant. Together, they will examine which approaches to the structure and content of Fee Proposals are effective and which, conversely, kill interest.
The panel will also include Andrey Kotov (Paveletskaya Plaza Mall), Lyubov Kuznetsova (Nornickel), and Anna Khomyakova (Aeroflot).
- Cross-Border Disputes: How Russian Companies Litigate Abroad in 2026 (4.10 PM–5.10 PM, Left Hall, 2nd Floor).
This session is dedicated to discussing contemporary experience participating in court proceedings in other jurisdictions. Using examples from courts in China, the EU, and the UK, speakers will address the specifics of legal representation, evidence handling, recovery of legal costs, and the review and enforcement of judgments.
Maxim will act as both moderator and speaker, sharing insights regarding the jurisdiction of England and Wales.
The discussion will also feature Diana Galeeva (FoamLine) and Natalia Sukhova (Sinofy Legal).
Venue: Leningrad Centre (4 Potemkinskaya Street, St Petersburg).
