Extending Clauses, Excusing Performance: an LIDW session featuring Maxim Kulkov

On 4 June, from 2pm to 3.30pm (London time), KK&P Managing Partner Maxim Kulkov will speak at a London International Disputes Week (LIDW) session titled Extending Clauses, Excusing Performance, organised by 4–5 Gray’s Inn Square and Barnes Law.

The session will explore recent developments in English case law, with a particular focus on the extension of arbitration and governing law clauses to ancillary agreements, as well as the use of sanctions as a defence against payment obligations and alleged contractual breaches.

Bringing together perspectives from arbitration and litigation, the discussion will highlight key trends shaping dispute resolution and sanctions law, offering practical insights for professionals involved in cross-border disputes.
