On 6 March, Maxim Kulkov will speak at the C5 conference in Geneva on the Corporate and Shareholder Disputes in the Context of Civil Fraud panel

KK&P Managing Partner Maxim Kulkov will speak at the annual Fraud, Asset Tracing and Recovery Conference about the liability of shadow directors in a discussion on a hypothetical case study combining a few real life examples (e.g., the Samin Tan, Kekhman, Ablyazov and 1MDB cases).

Along with Maxim, Edmund Nourse QC (One Essex Court) and Dato’ Lim Chee Wee (partner at Skrine) will take part in the discussion.

Maxim will also speak at the pre-conference day on 4 March dedicated to FSU-related litigation (FSU Forum), with a focus on the following issues:

  • Getting the best out of legal teams spanning multiple jurisdictions; and
  • Different types of legal harm and remedies under the laws of England, Russia and Ukraine.

 

Maxim’s co-speakers will be Nicola Boulton, (partner at Byrne and Partners), and Dan Wyatt (senior associate at RPC).

The conference will take place on 5–6 March 2020 at the Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva (formerly Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva), Geneva.
