On 6 December, Maxim Kulkov will speak at the RAA Law Firm Management Annual Conference

Session 4 entitled The departure of foreign service providers and its impact on the legal business will be held in a “four round tables” format. KK&P Managing Partner Maxim Kulkov will take part in a round table dedicated to the topic of the departure of foreign brands from Russia and working with foreign lawyers and NewLF (new law firms) in the new reality.

Maxim will discuss difficulties in cooperation with foreign consultants, the withdrawal of international law firms (ILF), the inability to participate in leading foreign rankings and payment problems with foreign counterparties.

KK&P is one of the first law firms in Russia founded as a highly-specialised dispute resolution boutique, and, in the first year of its existence, it became one of the leaders of Chambers & Partners.

For over 28 years, Maxim Kulkov has represented clients in Russian state courts of all levels and in international arbitration centres, such as the SCC, the ICC, the ICAC and the LCIA. He has extensive experience leading teams of international and local advisers in multi-jurisdictional disputes.

The other participants will be Victoria Bortkevicha (Better Chance), Denis Saushkin (ZKS), Mikhail Timonov (BIRCH LEGAL) and Leonid Ervits (LEVEL Legal Services).

The conference will be held in the offices of Pepeliaev Group (Building 1, 39 3rd Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, Moscow) and Melling, Voitishkin & Partners (9 Lesnaya Street, Moscow).
