KK&P Partners to participate in London International Disputes Week 2025

We are pleased to announce that KK&P Partners Maxim Kulkov and Nikolay Pokryshkin will participate in a Case study on the impact of sanctions, ASIs and insolvency in dispute resolution between Russian and Western companies – an event prepared jointly with Belgravia Law and Radcliffe Chambers.

The panel event will be held online and offline on 4 June from 11.00am to 12.30pm.

Venue: 50–52 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1HL (4th floor, Discover Hall).

The session will explore the growing phenomenon of Russian courts issuing judgments in favour of sanctioned persons against international companies and banks, such as Google, Linde, Citibank, etc, for billions of US$.

The panel will discuss this phenomenon using a case study based on actual cases, the scope of these decisions, the challenges international companies face in accessing justice within Russia, and alternatives to litigation in Russian courts.

Key discussion points will include:

– Current Russian case law on disputes with international companies/banks

– The extent and scope of efforts to access justice in Russian courts

– Goals for international companies litigating in Russia

– Alternatives to litigation in Russia

– How effective Western and Russian courts’ Anti-Suit Injunctions are

– Risks of commencing bankruptcy proceedings in Russian courts vs international companies/banks, and

– Enforcement of Russian courts’ judgments abroad.
