Veronica Bulatova (KK&P Trial Lawyers) is taking part in a two-year Young ICCA Mentoring Programme
The Young ICCA Mentoring Programme provides a unique platform for Young ICCA members to connect with, and learn from the experience of, more senior members of the ICCA (International Council for Commercial Arbitration), including members of the ICCA’s Governing Board.
The Young ICCA Mentoring Programme is the first structured mentoring programme within the international arbitration community. Mentees are organised into groups of 3–4 and assigned to a “Mentor” – a senior arbitration expert who is usually a member of the ICCA’s Governing Board – and a “Buddy” – an established mid-level arbitration practitioner.
Each Mentoring Group works together for two years. During this period, the Mentor and Buddy will be available to each of the Mentees in their group to provide advice and career guidance, as well as to impart arbitration wisdom and practical know-how, including through activities such as participating in conference calls, preparing articles, and taking part in and organising events.
Veronica Bulatova is the Mentee of the 8th cycle of the Young ICCA mentoring programme (2021–2022). Her group’s Mentor will be Toby Landau QC (Duxton Hill Chambers, Singapore) and the Group Advisor will be Lucas Bastin (Essex Court Chambers).
Veronica has become one of only two Russian participants admitted to the programme. Out of over 500 applications from around the world, only 80 Mentees from 42 different countries were selected to participate.
Young ICCA (functioning under the auspices of ICCA) is the world’s leading arbitration knowledge and skills network for young practitioners dedicated to introducing new practitioners from all corners of the globe to the field of international arbitration.
